Tata Owned Jaguar Is Working On A New Indigenous EV Platform Called Panthera. 




British Luxury car marque Jaguar, owned by the Tata Group, is working on a new platform that will underpin future electric cars from the brand. 


Named Panthera, the plateform is being manufacturered indigenously by the automaker and is likely to be ready before 2025.


The development of this new and dedicated EV plateform comes at a time when Jaguar is aiming to become an electric only car brand by 2025.


The Panthera Architecture is expected to make future Jaguar electric cars more unique both visually and in terms of performance., claims a report from Autocar UK. 


The automaker is currently working on two electric crossovers and a two -door coupe that will come with a range of pure electric Powertrains. 


However, the automaker has remained silent about the development of its future cars. 


In fect, Jaguar confirmed in late 2021 that it would not launch any new products until 2025.


Speaking about the new plateform, Jaguar land Rover CEO Thierry Boller has said. 


The auto company aims to priorities unique proportions for new Jaguar cars. 



He also confirmed that the auto company will take up the entire project alone.
